A receipt, a ticket, a booking. One message, carrying a link to the page you already host. We never see what's on it.

A couple of seconds later the box shows the square code and confirms it. That confirmation is what spends it.

Do I still have to print receipts?
Where the law requires a printed fiscal receipt, you keep printing it — maratus sits beside your printer, not instead of it. It replaces everything else you hand over: e-receipt copies, tickets, warranties, menus, return slips.
What if the wi-fi is down?
Your till gets an immediate "box offline" answer. Nothing shows, nothing queues, nothing is charged.
What if the code never shows?
The request expires and nothing counts against your 1000. A late code never appears — nobody sees a stranger's receipt.
Shown but never scanned — do I still pay?
Yes — it counts. The showing is what you're paying for; scanning is free whether zero people scan or fifty.
Do I need a developer?
If your till or POS can call a URL when a sale closes, it's one request. If it can't, whoever set up your POS can usually add it in an afternoon.
How many boxes do I need?
One per counter where you hand things to customers. They share one console, and each box carries its own $15 a month and its own 1000.
What does it cost?
$15 a month per box, on a 12-month term. The box is included — you rent it rather than buy it — and each month covers 1000 codes actually shown, counted fresh every month.
What does it show between codes?
Whatever you design: your logo, colours, opening hours, the time. Every screen is a canvas in the console.
